In Loving Memory We will come together this Shabbat to observe the first yahrzeit of Yeshaya Boyarin's z"l, son of Elissa Sampson and Jonathan Boyarin. Elissa and Jonathan have shared that as a young child Yeshaya was made welcome at the Shul. They have been comforted by Rabbi Birkeland and their many Lower East Side friends remembering Yeshaya this past year.
Food will be served and all are welcome. While there is much sorrow, there is also joy to be found in having a community come together in Yeshaya's name.
After the morning services which end at noon, Moshe Bloxenheim will be learning a Talmudic tractate in Yeshaya's memory, completing one of the six "orders" of the Mishnah.
