Construction Update

Our Urgent Repairs Project is progressing nicely and we expect most of the work to be done by the High Holidays. We will be sending a more complete report on our progress, and the increased scope of the work that is being done, soon. Our use of the shul, both the main sanctuary and the beit midrash, remains unobstructed as the work continues.

The shul has received press coverage about the construction, including in the Lo-Down and The New York Jewish Week

Thank you to the NY Landmarks Conservancy and to all who contributed to make these repairs possible. Thank you also to the Urgent Repairs Committee members -- Jeff Katz, Rivky FriedmanElissa Sampson, Raffi Abelson, and Jessica Spector -- for their efforts in moving this project forward.

Volunteering at Stanton

It takes a lot of elbow grease and talent to run our shul, and we can probably use your help.

Can you set a table, clear a table, (wo)man a table? Are you a techie, webbie, or social media-ie? Event planner, fundraiser, program coordinator? Accountant, lawyer, or investment professional? Kosher butcher, baker, or candlestick maker? Do you have building skills?

If you possess any of these or other skills, professional or amateur, that you'd like to contribute to Stanton, speak to Rabbi Bodner, Rivky Friedman, or another member of the board, and let's think about how we can help make Stanton flourish.

Planned Giving at Stanton

If you are looking for a way to give back to Stanton, not right now, but maybe at some point in the future, please consider planning a long-term gift to the shul.

We encourage anyone interested in discussing various ways to plan a gift now that will be given in the future to contact Board members Michael Gordon or Rivky Friedman, or Rabbi Bodner. There are many ways to go about planned giving, and we are happy to discuss the various options that might work for you.
