Winter Shabbatot - Fixed time for Kabbalat Shabbat 5:15 pm - For November and December

This is a reminder that daylight savings time has started this week and Shabbat begins at 4:19 pm; much earlier than last week.

As we did in previous years during the winter months at the Stanton Street Shul, we will have a later Kabbalat Shabbat starting at 5:15 pm every week for the next few months. The purpose of the later prayer service is to provide an opportunity for the many people who work until the final moments of Friday to get to shul and welcome Shabbat. Please remember to daven Mincha before coming to shul and to recite Shema before coming to shul on Shabbat morning.

#Giving Tuesday - $3,000 Matching Grant

Our generous donors, Peretz Berk and Erik Leung, have agreed to match up to $3,000 in donations toward StantonKIDS on or before #GivingTuesday. Please be generous so we can meet this match and continue to provide exceptional programming for our children and our future.  Click here and choose "StantonKIDS" from the dropdown menu between now and Tuesday, November 28, to take part in our #GivingTuesday matching gift campaign!

This Shabbat! StantonKids Program - Nov 18

Volunteering at Stanton

One of the many strengths of our shul is the variety and multiple talents and abilities of our congregants. It takes a lot to run our shul and our programming, and we can probably use your help. Are you a tech guru, web design aficionado, or social media wiz? A master event planner, fundraiser, or program coordinator? An accountant, lawyer, or investment professional? A trained carpenter, electrician, or contractor? If you have any of these or other skills, professional or amateur, that you'd like to contribute to Stanton, speak to Rabbi Bodner, Paul Ruffer, or another member of the board, and let's think about how we can help make Stanton flourish together.

Planned Giving at Stanton

Looking for a way to give back to Stanton, not right now, but maybe at some point in the future? Consider planning a long-term gift to the shul. We encourage anyone interested in discussing various ways to plan a gift now that will be given in the future to contact board member Michael Gordon or Rabbi Bodner. There are many ways to go about planned giving and we are happy to discuss the various options that might work for you.

We are proud to be a member synagogue of
