Advanced Gemara: Sanhedrin

Join us Monday nights at 8:00 pm at Stanton to study Gemara (Babylonian Talmud). Currently we are learning Masechet (Tractate) Sanhedrin.

"Sanhedrin" details the laws applicable to the hierarchical Jewish judicial system, as well as the various penalties – monetary, corporeal and capital. 

The class is at an advanced level (knowledge of basic Hebrew is needed), but all are welcome to join and participate. No books or materials required. Please check the weekly newsletter for any changes in schedule.
