Dear friends,

Tonight Wednesday, 12/04/2024at 7:00 PM, we will commence a weekly shiur examining Sefer Koheles- the Book of Ecclesiastes. My hope is that together we will explore this unique and challenging book from Tanakh, approaching it from multiple angles and perspectives. 

The class will be offered in person and on Zoom. Here is the link:

For those joining in person, the plan is to meet in shul at 7pm where we will take time to learn in pairs (chavrusos) or small groups for approximately 20 minutes. I encourage those at home to also take that time to go over the material on their own or with a friend.  At 7:30 I will start the zoom meeting and we will all reconvene for a class/discussion.

This week I am sending out some introductory sources about the inclusion of Koheles in Tanakh (see attached). Though we may start a few lines in Koheles, the introductory sources will be our main focus for the first night. 

This will be new for all of us and I am very excited to start learning together.
