THANK YOU for a WONDERFUL ROSH HASHANAH and YOM KIPPOR from President Jeff Katz The Yomim Noraim at The Stanton Street Street Shul were exceptional this year. We have many people to thank for their input and skill. Kudos to Rabbi Staller for his inspirational drashot. Praise is always due to our baal koreh, Mordecai Silver for his expert layning. Special thank yous are extended to Jeremy Newberger who davened Shacharit on Rosh Hashana and to David Elkins who davened Musaf both days. We appreciate the skill and expertise of Jeff Katz and Paul Ruffer for their blowing shofar. The holiday gift honey and apples were provided by Margie Segal, and Paul Ruffer packaged and distributed them. We thank Michael Goldstein for hanging the holiday parochet and for Moshe Bloxenheim who helped in dressing the Torahs and bringing out the holiday mahzorim. We thank everyone who has contributed to our High Holiday Appeal. On Yom Kippur Neil Kitainik led a beautiful Kol NIdre and Neilah. Mordecai Silver davened Shacharit, layned Torah, davened Mincha and read the Book of Yonah. Eli Cooper led us in the holiday Musaf. Thank you to Jessica Spector for her Yizkor Appeal and Jeff Katz for his High Holiday Appeal on Kol Nidre evening. And we are grateful to Rabbi Staller for leading us through the Avoda recitation. Thank you to all our ushers and everyone else who made yom tov at Stanton Street so very special this year. We recognize the special attention the 7th Precinct paid us and kept us safe.
