Thankful The Role of Gratitude in the Jewish Bible – and in our Lives
Gratitude is a very Jewish trait. Over the course of 4 weeks, we will explore several Biblical stories through the lens of gratitude – and its ugly opposite, ingratitude. In doing so we will uncover just how central a role gratitude plays in our history, and in our Judaism. In addition to Tanakh, we will also look at relevant midrashim, mitzvot, minhagim, and even the Siddur as we reflect upon the sundry ways that Judaism fosters an attitude of gratitude.
Three Remaining Wednesdays: Mar 1, 8, 15 7pm via ZOOM
Volunteer to either facilitate or attend small Shabbat meals of randomly assigned attendees. Don't worry about the food or the fanciness. Focus on the friendship! Challah, wine and good company is all that is required.

As we pray for the safety of our Jewish family in Ukraine and all communities in affected areas, we encourage you to do what you can to make a difference.
Please consider making a donation to UJA Federation. They and their partners have been on the ground in Ukraine since the beginning fulfilling emergency needs such as emergency relief for those who are homebound or have disabilities, humanitarian supplies, refugee aid, and the facilitation of Aliyah for those trying to leave the country.
Thank you in advance for stepping up to support the critical needs in Ukraine as the crisis continues to unfold. Kindly donate here.
