Erev Shabbat, Friday February 23, 2024 (14 Adar) Candle Lighting at 5:22pm Shabbat, February 24, 2024 (15 Adar) This Shabbat, we are excited to be join by our Rabbinic Interns, Dvir & Shalhevet Cahana, who will be delivering a Dvar Torah on Shabbat Day. Services will begin promptly at 9:30 and will be followed by a Kiddush open to all at 12pm.

Dear Stanton Community,
We are shaking from the war breaking out in Israel. Hamas has fired thousands of rockets, over 136 citizens are hostages, and over 1,200 Israelis are dead with thousands more wounded. There are also thousands dead in Gaza -- innocent civilians caught in the line of fire.
This is unprecedented and the most deadly attack on Israel in a generation. We must take action. In addition to our prayers, we ask you to consider making a generous donation to one of the listed causes.
The One who makes peace on high, may He bring peace down below to us, Dvir and Shalhevet Cahana

In 2024, Purim will take place from the evening of March 23 until the evening of March 24. In Jerusalem, where Shushan Purim is celebrated, the festival takes place on the following day, from March 24 to March 25.

Family/Kids Programming: kids' activities, including face paint, a costume contest, a Piñata, carnival games, and pizza), as well as a family Purim Seudah + Purim schpeil will take place from ~ 4:30 – 6:00pm
Why does Esther choose to include Vashti in her story? After all, the story could have begun with Haman's rise to power. In this class, we will explore possible answers and discuss the powerful lessons we learn from our fallen leaders and those who came before us.

About Jonny: Jonny is British born and emigrated to Israel to serve in the IDF, where he then made a life for himself. He founded the organization From the Depths 10 years ago, with a focus on educating about the Holocaust and sharing the stories of survivors and victims. A huge focus of his work is providing support to the Righteous Among the Nations. Since October 7, he has become a prominent voice speaking about the atrocities and latest news from Israel.
