Holiday Alert: Rosh Chodesh Nisan falls out on April 9.

A Special Request: Pesach is almost upon us, and Stanton Street Shul is creating a Hagaddah celebrating our community and neighborhood. We are collecting Divrei Torah (preferably around 500 words or less) or art (of any size). It would be a dream to have pieces that celebrate: the LES today - for example, historic LES, yiddish language and theater, the labor movement (Clara Lemlich etc.), Rav Moshe Feinstein/MTJ - or other art forms.

If you are interested in sending us a piece, please send it to: Dvir at dvircahana@gmail.com (646.898.6818) and Shalhevet at shalhevetcahana@gmail.com (617.412.1724) by Sunday, April 7th and reach out to Shalhevet or Dvir with any questions. Erev Pesach/Taanit Bechorot

Chametz may not be eaten after 10:38am
Chametz may not be burned after 11:46am
Candle Lighting at 7:25pm

Mincha & Maariv will be held at ~ 7:20pm. Our communal seder for night #1 of Pesach will be held at ~ 8:00pm and will include singing, learning, and interactive sharing as a community. We will be joined by our Rabbinic Interns, Dvir & Shalhevet Cahana. Kindly register here for either or both sedarim.

Tuesday April 23, 2024, Pesach Day 1
9:30am Shacharit Services, followed by Kiddush
Candle Lighting at 8:27pm

We pray that all who are sick may have a full recovery. We are especially sending prayers to those who are wounded and in need of healing in Israel and Gaza, and daven for the safe return of those who are still unaccounted for.

Dear Stanton Community, 
 
We are shaking from the war breaking out in Israel. Hamas has fired thousands of rockets, over 136 citizens are hostages, and over 1,200 Israelis are dead with thousands more wounded. There are also thousands dead in Gaza -- innocent civilians caught in the line of fire. 
 
This is unprecedented and the most deadly attack on Israel in a generation. We must take action.
In addition to our prayers, we ask you to consider making a generous donation to one of the listed causes.
 
The One who makes peace on high, may He bring peace down below to us,
