STARTING THIS SUNDAY - New in June: Morning Yoga Classes

Gain a stronger, more flexible body and a calmer mind as you learn the classical poses of yoga, as well as relaxation, meditation and yogic breathing. 

 

Sunday mornings, June 3, 10 and 24 from 9:30-11am; and June 17 following the Membership meeting.

Women's Discussion Group - Sunday, June 10 @ 12:00 pm

The next women's discussion group will be on Sunday, June 10th at 12:00 PM @ the Shul. The topic of the group will be Jewish Women And Food: Join us as we digest some food for thought! In this session, we will explore the relationships between food and our gender identities through a Jewish lens. Attendees must come hungry - for learning and discussion, of course. Women's Tefillah for Parashat Korach: Shabbat Morning, June 16

All women are invited to participate in our Women's Tefilah and Torah reading for Parashat Korach, on Shabbat morning, June 16.

Rabbi Eryn London is currently a chaplain resident at New York Presbyterian - Weill Cornell Medical Center. She received smicha from Yeshivat Maharat in 2017. She is a graduate of Goucher College and Goldsmiths, University of London, after which she made aliyah in 2010 where she studied at Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies and the Susi Bradfield Women's Institute of Halachic Leadership at Midreshet Lindenbaum.

Annual Membership Meeting - Sunday Morning, June 17

The Stanton Street Shul's Annual Membership Meeting is your chance to hear about all that is going on in the shul, ask questions, elect shul board members and vote on other shul-related matters.

 

This year's meeting will take place on Sunday morning, June 17. Join us for Shacharit services at 9am, followed by breakfast and the meeting at 9:30am.

 

The membership meeting is open only to shul members in good standing. To renew your membership, please pay your dues online or mail a check to P.O. Box 1008, NY, NY 10002, by June 1. To become a shul member, click here.
