2018-2019 Annual Membership Meeting Update

Thank you to all those who attended the Stanton Street Shul's Annual Membership Meeting on Sunday. We heard about all that is going on in the shul, asked questions, elected shul board members, joined committees and voted on other shul-related matters.

The 2018-19 Board of Trustees and officers were elected. The officers are Paul Ruffer (president), Jessica Spector and Peretz Berk (vice-presidents), Jeff Katz (treasurer), and Malka Percal (secretary). We welcome new trustee David Deutsch. Alvin Goldstein, Michael Gordon, George Kleiner, and Margie Segal continue as trustees.

Stepping down as trustees are Rivky Friedman, and Laura and Sam Weisblatt. While we cannot adequately express our thanks for all they each have done for the Shul, we will honor them at a special, board-sponsored Kiddush this Shabbat. A beautiful handmade mezuzah, created by artist and Stanton member David Wander, was presented by the board to Laura and Sam, who are moving to Brooklyn this month.

Mincha/Maariv Minyan on Monday nights is growing!
