StantonKIDS is BACK - This Shabbat, July 28 @ 10:30 am Our kids program is back for the summer! Join us this Shabbat for our StantonKIDS class with Morah Leslie! The class will be on Shabbat (Saturday, July 28th) from 10:30am-12pm.

Starting this Wednesday - Jewish Medical Ethics Class, at the Museum at Eldridge This series will cover some of the most discussed topics of medical ethics from a Jewish perspective. We will explore the primary sources and follow the development of Jewish law regarding some complex and sensitive issues including abortion, time of death and organ donations. This new series of classes will meet at the Museum at Eldridge Street on Wednesday mornings in August (11:00 am- 12:30pm) and is taught by our Rabbi Bodner. Women's Yoga Classes - Wednesdays in July Gain a stronger, more flexible body and a calmer mind as you learn the classical poses of yoga, as well as relaxation, meditation and yogic breathing.   The next sessions will be on Wednesday evenings, July 25 and Aug. 1, from 6:15 to 7:45pm. FREE for Stanton members. RSVP by clicking here.   Instructor Malka Percal (RYT-200, Integral Yoga Institute) has practiced yoga for many years. Elul Shacharit Minyan, 7:00 - 7:30 am, Wednesdays As a community we will attempt to strengthen our relationship with God by increasing our tefilot at the synagogue. During the month of Elul, beginning on Wednesday, August 15th) we will be having a minyan every Wednesday morning at 7:00 am. The dates of the minyanim will be: August 15, 22 and 29 and Sep 5. As you are contemplating how you can strengthen your relationship with God and with the community during this time of reflection, we ask you to consider taking part in this initiative. “TEVYE SERVED RAW (Garnished with Jews)” - Show with Allen Rickman and Yelena Shmuelson  The show is a fun evening made up of Sholem Aleichem stories: both Tevye material and some of his straight comedy stuff. It is performed by our friends Allen Rickman and Yelena Shmuelson. The performance is in English and Yiddish-with-English supertitles. A wonderfully entertaining show that at the same time gives a real sense of Jewish life in Eastern Europe back when many of us lived there. The show runs through August 14.
