You might have noticed that our shul purchased new siddurim: The Koren Sacks Siddur! Thank you to Phyllis Ruffer and Margie Segal for their generosity.

 

You can dedicate one of the 80 new siddurim in memory or in honor of your loved ones for $50 each. Dedicate a siddur here.

New Mini-Series of Classes for Pesach - Exploring the Four Sons of the Haggadah: Monday @ 7:00pm April 1 & 8 - With Rabbi Bodner

Pesach is around the corner and we are here to help you prepare for it. Join us for this mini-series of two classes on the subject of the four sons of the Haggadah.

 

April 1 - How is the Wise Son different from the Wicked Son?

April 8 - The Four Sons in Art - Reviewing tens of pictures from various haggadot from the last 400 years and can be learned from them.

Singer Song-Writer Night, Sunday, April 7

Join us for a night of acoustic music by a few members of the synagogue and a few of their friends on the new balcony of our shul. This evening will feature original songs written and sung by the artists listed.  The format will include stories of the creative process and songs in the works. Come by to support the songwriters and the synagogue.

Registration Open -  Shabbat HaGadol Community Dinner - April 12

Do you really want to cook for the weekend before Pesach? We didn't think so. Join us for this dinner with all the Chametz foods you can imagine. Register here. 

Next StantonKIDS Program - Shabbat, April 13th @ 10:30 am

Join us for our next StantonKIDS Shabbat! The class will be on Shabbat morning (Saturday, April 13th) from 10:30am-12pm. 

Second Night Communal Passover Seder with Rabbi Aviad Bodner - April 20

Join us for a meaningful and uplifting Passover seder in the Lower East side with the Stanton Street Shul community, where we will experience the exodus together and regard ourselves "as if we had come out of Egypt." All are welcome and all will feel welcome.

Rabbi Bodner will be leading a community seder on the second night of Passover, Saturday night, April 20, at 8:20 pm, at the Stanton Street Shul. The cost is $50 person for Stanton members, $60/person for non-members, and sponsorships ($150 includes two seats at the seder) are available. Registration will close on April 10th.
