On June 30th, after davening shacharit and eating a light breakfast, the Stanton Street Shul's Annual Membership Meeting was called to order. President Paul Ruffer greeted the 30 or so members present and Jessica Spector outlined the Shul's accomplishments this past year.

Rabbi Bodner addressed the gathering and spoke of his immanent departure and expressed his deep feelings for the Shul. Discussion followed about reinvigorating our Committee System and appointing chairpersons to head committees. Jeff Katz spoke about the Rabbinic Search and the work of the committee.  He presented a financial report and spoke about the need for a Building Security Committee. Marc Schwartzberg, Risa Gerstein and Barry Feldman were elected as new Board members and will join the officers: Paul Ruffer, President, Margie Segal, Vice President, Jeff Katz, Treasurer, Peretz Berk, Financial Secretary, Jessica Spector, Recording Secretary and other members: Alvin Goldstein, David Deutsch, Michael Gordon, Malka Percal and George Kleiner. We thank all who renewed their membership and encourage those who have yet to renew to do so soon.
