This Shabbat - Shabbat Dinner in French! - Dec 14

MusiKef is a series of music and dance classes for kids 1 to 3 years old, focusing on Israeli and Jewish traditions and songs, giving the kids a little taste of Israel through the introduction of the Hebrew language.

$10 per class for shul members or Olam Katan students $20 per class for non shul members. Click here to register.

Talk and Historical Neighborhood Walking Tour of the Lower East Side - Shabbat, Dec 22

Join us for a talk followed by a walking tour of the Stanton Street Shul and the surrounding area led by Dr. Elissa Sampson for Yiddish New York. You'll learn about the neighborhood's historic synagogues, old tenements, landsmanshaftn, and visit a community garden that tells a tale of the LES's evolution. Bring your walking shoes! The talk will run from 1-1:30PM, with the walking tour from 1:30-2:30PM (if it rains, we'll spend more time inside). This event is free.

Everything Might be Closed on December 25th... But Not the Stanton Street Shul!
